Studied the science and psychology of how humans interact with technological interfaces. Focus was on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Usability, User Interfacing and User Experience. My dissertation topic was Understanding the user in online education, created with the goal of creating a survey tool to help in defining the user in online education to better understand their needs.

Studied the history, methodology and process of Graphic Design. My MFA Thesis is to illustrate the importance of design education to keep pace with trends of the industry and how to bring those trends into the classroom effectively and meaningfully through updated curriculum and course design. The goal is to re-imagine the three-year syllabus cycle to better prepare graduates for the industry.
